I SAW THE SIGN....
I have always been fascinated with astrology and zodiac signs. Maybe its partly due to the fact that I'm an Aquarius. A mystical creature myself!
Anyway, I had to share this find with you all. A post that combines 2 of my favorite things in one.

THE DAILY BREAD
Repeat after me.....luh paN koh-ti-dyaN. luh paN koh-ti-dyaN. luh paN koh-ti-dyaN.
What you just pronounced was "the daily bread" in french which reads Le Pain Quotidien! See, its easier when it is broken down.
I love this place and I wanted to post on why Le Pain has become one of our Sunday rituals.
& here is why:
First, the atmosphere. The simplicity of the wooden rooms full of large communal tables makes it feel homey rather than restaurant like in a sort of a rustic-modern-french way. Although we always grab a table for 2 by the window, but you have the option of both.
The food is fresh and organic. The coffee is my favorite by far... and it might have to do with the bowl shaped coffee mug they serve you. I'm able to wrap both hands around the mug which makes it a simple pleasure of mine :)
Back to the food. The food at Le Pain is wholesome and delicious! There is also an awesome variety that is sure to please your dining needs, even if they are extremely different . Vegan food? Check. Omnivore food? Check. Vegetarian food? Gluten Free? Check. I always order the Gluten Free Salmon Tartine. Amaze.
If you like bread, this place is a must. A unique, and completely amazing, feature of Le Pain is their variety of sweet spreads for their bread. Perfect if you have a super sweet tooth.
Le Pain can at times get extremely busy, I highly recommend enjoying a brunch with your girlfriends on a weekend while sipping on mimosa's. Yes they have mimosas!
Le Pain for us is our perfect spot for a leisurely brunch on Sundays.
Check it out and let me know what you think!

ROUTINE
I wanted to share some of my recent beauty haul purchases with you and how I use them in my routine. As I've gotten older I've made the proactive decision to take care and treat my skin. It may look like alot but the truth is with my routine I've been able to stop using foundation and layers of makeup to hide my skin. The result:my pores look tighter, I've had less breakouts and the overall health of my skin has been on the up and up.
So onto my haul and routine.....We tried the Clarisonic Aria and First Aid Cleanser last night and we absolutely loved them both! The wash left our face extremely clean with out any tightness and the Clarisonic was like having a facialist at the palm of our hands. We were staring at our skin in the mirror and couldn't believe just how fresh and clean our skin looked. These 2 products will be used twice a week along with my routine down below.
| Oscar Blondi Dry Shampoo Volumizer Travel Size in picture - awesome product! |
Here are the products I'm currently using in order of how I use them for my skin routine only.

- Garnier Skin Renew Anti Puff Eye Roller
- Clinique's All About Eyes
- Vichy's Normaderm Daily Hydrating Lotion.
- Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer with spf 15 (applies to my neck)
- Evian Mineral Water Spray (throughout the day)
SHOWER ROUTINE:
- Dove Body Wash Extra Moisturizing
- Giovanni Salt Scrub Cool Mint with Exfoliating Gloves (2 - 3 times a week full body)
- Before drying off - Johnson & Johnson Baby Lotion w. drops of NUXE Hulie Prodigieuse Dry Oil, see post here for how to use it.
- Laura Mercier Pistachio Souffle Body Creme
NIGHT TIME:

- Ole Henrikens Truth Serum Collagen Booster
- Vichy's Normaderm Daily Hydrating Lotion.
- ReVive Moisturizing Renewal Cream (once every other week when I don't exfolitae
- Evian Mineral Water Spray (before I rest my head)
Once a Week I also use the BOSICA Black mask while in conjunction with my homemade hair mask. See post here.
& there you have it! The better you care for your skin the less makeup you have to hide behind. Its the only skin you have so start taking care of it! In the past I had to use makeup brighteners to achieve a dewy complexion but now its natural and I couldn't be happier. I also know that diet plays a huge role here, what you put in your body will show on the outside. Remember to drink lots of water with lemon if you can.
