HAIR TALES

If its natural and void of chemicals count this chick in!

ALMOND AND PEPPERMINT OIL TREATMENT for healthier hair....

The use of almond oil for hair growth has been popular since ancient Egypt when it was commonly mixed with castor oil and applied to the hair to create a smooth, shiny appearance and lock moisture in the hot climate. As of 2013, almond oil is still used and found in many hair growth products. It is considered a preferred all-natural tool for hair re-growth by many.  Worth a try!

Peppermint Oil
Although peppermint oil has a cooling, tingling effect when massaged onto the scalp, rest assured the oil is hard at work balancing the PH levels of your scalp to help put a stop to oily hair. Peppermint oil is actually an astringent which normalizes your scalp's oil production. An oily scalp produces excess oil which is then distributed throughout the hair; that creates greasy, oiled hair. Peppermint oil eliminates this problem and makes the appearance of greasy, flat hair a thing of the past.

PLUS - The tingling sensation mentioned above not only evens the playing field of the PH balance of your scalp, but it also stimulates your hair follicles and promotes hair growth. THE PLUS PLUS? The smell…ahhh the sweet cool smell!

***Considerations***: Please dilute the peppermint oil before you apply it to your scalp because it is quite potent. Rule of thumb, you will want about 4 drops of peppermint oil to every cup of water OR doubled up carrier oil. See instructions below.

HOW TO
Add into a spray bottle the following:
3 - 5 Tbsp of Almond Oil  & roughly 4-5 drops of Peppermint Oil
Twice a week apply a few sprays to your scalp and massage in. Comb the oils through the hair with a wide toothed comb and  leave it on overnight.

These oils are natural with no side effects. If you want to save your mullah$$, cut back spending on tons of hair products to bring out the natural beauty of hair and use natural treatments.

Lastly  - Consider your diet. Dry hair can be an indication of a poor diet or even mild dehydration. So drink up! WATER ALL DAY WATER ALL NIGHT. Make sure you eat a balanced diet of good proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. Vitamin and mineral supplements (e.g., vitamins A,C,E, and calcium) are good for treating dry hair, also.

If you couple natural hair care treatments with good eating habits, you will be rewarded with healthy hair. Try it and let me know how you like it!
