Late Night w/ the Bride -The Pierre Hotel 

& the holiday weekend has come to an end…. Mother Nature was not on our side but the latter part of the Holiday weekend ended on a sunny high note.

First and for most congratulations to a dear friend of mine on her engagement! I couldn't be happier for Michele and Anthony. A truly beautiful couple! What a surprise!!! 

Friday night started off wet, dreary and cold. Caught up on a movie, Side Effects (starring Jude Law, Channing Tatum – need I say more!)

Saturday was the same but we managed to bring summer into our home. We put together our play list that included a few of The Great Gatsby songs from the movie (go see the movie and download the soundtrack, phenom!) and cooked a summer meal together.  Coconut & Cilantro Jasmine Rice & Lime Garlic Shrimp served with a Pinot Noir (a staple in my apt)

Topped the night with our own personal dance party - Great Gatsby Party Scene.

Sunday we made our way downtown and met up with my friend, Marie Martino (Pilate's Instructor and Lifestyle Coach) for a brunch at Veselka, a Ukrainian eatery and shared many...many laughs together.

Shopped for a new bedroom set and items for the apartment t at ABC Home. 5 floors of "I want!" 

Monday was spent both in Central and Carl Shurz Park walking, eating, and working out while getting in some much needed Vitamin D.

& here we are – back to the grind. Ready for another great week! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend and made the best of it with family and friends.
