MY TUESDAY TRUTHS



My plate is full. Work, school, my blog, social life, daily responsibilities….. yet I yearn for more. The older I get the more I want to learn about everything that interests me. Learning new things excites me. So, I present to you my next goal list…. (Includes both short term & long term)
 
·         Learn to speak French
·         A Certificate in Fitness (either spin or pilates)
·         Continued Education
·         Travel abroad (more)

 
Why I love goals? When something beautiful happens in your life your immediately  filled with adrenaline and you radiate that beauty. By following through with your goals and checking off your list you feel that same adrenaline and your outlook on your life becomes more optimistic.  (atleast for me it does). Your energy is focused on positive changes and less on the negativity that may be around you.

SO I THOUGHT.....




Lenten Progress.... I made it till the last minute. Once Lent was over I literally ran to Starbucks for a Chocolate Cake pop. DOWNED IT. For those new to my blog, I had given up chocolate and nut butters for Lent  for 40 days. Click here, here & here  for those posts.

Next up a Russel Stovers Easter Chocolate - broke it i pieces and stopped. Yes, I willingly stopped. WHO HAVE I BECOME!!??

It's true, your body craves what you eat and to be honest it didn't taste as good as I remember.

Within an hour, I had a massive headache and felt sick. Consuming that sugar did not agree with me and it scared me.  So I looked into it. Click here for some facts on the effects of sugar on your body & brain.

I learned this -  if I want something sweet I'm going for the fruit bowl. My body & brain are already thanking me..... I hope you make the better choice for your body and mind, a healthy you is the best you!

Ahhh, the boyfriend….jean J

The boyfriend jean is my forte – Im obsessed with the look of a boyfriend jean …. A few celebs that are known to rock a good pair of BF’s ... Jennifer Anniston, Katie Holmes & Gwen Stefani – each adding their own twist to the classic BF. The great thing about this jean is that you can style them anyway you want – from street chic casual to dressed up with a stiletto. I love the BF styled with a tweed jacket or a slouchy sweater, tote bag and heels… Here are some BF'd style pictures to inspire your look.

TIP: Go thru your boyfriends closet or even your fathers and try their jeans on – roll them up add a tank and heels. Add your grandfathers sweater over the tank for cooler days. Saves you money and you feel wrapped up in love wearing their items.

KEEPING IT 1 HUNDRED....



Wow! Its been about 5 months since I started this blog and Ive hit my 100th post!
My blog stats shows that Ive received over 3000 hits globally! As far away as Taiwan, Russia, India, Germany & many others. Fitness Fits is my outlet  & I’ve loved every step thus far.
 
Throughout my blogging experience, I’ve written about personal experiences, food recipes, lots of fitness topics, and recently an excessive amount of randomness. When I first started, I envisioned this blog to be focused mainly around fitness, hence the name. But as my mind wandered a bit  (as it normally does) I started to write on other topics  such as, fashion, entertaining, mental health and ways to save a buck.  Fitness Fits has been a blast so far & I cant wait for the next 100.   
Whether you’ve been reading since blog post numero uno or this is the first post, I want to thank you for stopping by my page and reading.
