WAKE UP (SMOOTHIE) WEDNESDAY

Here is a quick recipe for one of my absolute favorite morning smoothies.
 
WAKE UP SMOOTHIE!
Heaping Handful of Organic Spinach
Handful of Organic Blueberries
Packet of Strawberry Banana Spiru-Tein (see earlier post on product here)
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 Cup Ice Water
1 Tablespoon of Flax Oil or Flax Seeds
 
Place spinach into a blender first (blends better) then add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth! Trust me on this one, it may be green but you do not taste the spinach at all! Enjoy!

TIP: If you wake up and want something with more substance, add 1/2 cup of dry oats. Thickens up the drink and keeps you more full.
